For the past 5 – 6 years I have been wanting to put out some sort of ”Upper West Side” t-shirt. Every year when spring comes around the idea comes back to me and I try to come up with a design. I have an archive of various attempts. After some good feedback I think I might finally move forward with the top left one!
The other night I grabbed a giant and very dusty canvas that had been sitting in the hallway of our office building. I cleaned it up, grabbed some markers and went to work. I hope to do some more large scale drawings soon. This one is 6 ‘ x 5′.
This past winter we were fortunate to get a Starter account. They are known for being selective with their accounts and for their very high minimums. Working with them is a bit different from our usual USA manufacturer. Their standard production time is about 4 months and that doesn’t include the 4 weeks for samples. So basically you have to work very far in advance with them. Below is our first Starter capsule for Spring 2012. We released them about 2 weeks ago and are available in the Only. store as well as a bunch of our retailers (mostly international).
