    Office Expansion February 3rd, 2012
     

    I’m excited to say we recently expanded our office by taking over the room next door. This past Holiday season we pretty much maxed out the space we had. It was a complete mess and a literal maze of boxes. The original dream from the start was to take over the space next door and we did it.  We first thought we wanted to knock down the whole wall but instead we had a doorway cut which made more sense to keep the two rooms separate. In literally one day we set up a mini warehouse which holds the bulk of our online inventory. This is where all online orders are packed and processed. And on the other side we have a now organized design studio and showroom. Great way to start the new year! – Micah

    Setup Up For Winter October 25th, 2010
     

    The past 4 weeks have been intense; researching/searching for commercial spaces endlessly, finding then negotiating, committing to a new expense, then moving/cleaning and building, oh yea, and waiting 3 weeks for internet..  It’s been a lot.  Exciting yet nerve wracking.

    With the way things were going, and our biggest production yet on it’s way, running Only out of the apartment was not really an option anymore. And I am happy to say I can walk around my house freely again.

    Now that we are pretty much setup in the office, I am glad to be able to take a step back and appreciate what we now have and what’s to come. With all this recent productivity, I may even find some time for a few side projects again :>

    Subway Signs August 10th, 2010
     

    We recently took a trip to the workspace of Underground Signs, an independent MTA Subway Sign Replica Company. It was great to chill and talk with the owner Trevor, who I must thank again for the amazing custom logo sign he created for us! Look out for the full studio visit feature on the Only site soon.

    Some Recent Gifts January 14th, 2010
     

    I got some really great gifts this year for Christmas and thought i’d share a few.
    –
    Shipping has become a big part of my weekly routine.  My mom had the great idea of getting me this foldable dolly. Has already come in great use!

    November Rundown November 21st, 2009
     

    Things have been really heating up.  ONLY Winter ’09 line is currently being produced and will be available at some great stores all over the globe next month. Blades, Colette, & Black Rainbow are to name a few..  For the few that have seen the new designs, the response has been really great!

    I got the honor to work w/ Grotesk who is the guest artist of the new line.  He is one of my personal favorite designers and one of the reasons I got into ‘graphic design’ in the first place.  Alls I can say is he killed it and I cannot wait to wear, own and cherish the pieces myself!

    In other news, I just turned 25.  Not sure how I feel about that..

    I have also been keeping busy on some cool new freelance projects.  I am just about done doing a series of tees for my friend Randy’s families snowboard/ski shop up in Killington, Vermont.  We put some good thought into each design and being that Randy is an Art Director/Designer, the graphics came out great!  I can’t wait to see, I should have photos next week.

    In addition, the other week I got to meet w/ the directors of Zoo York.  I am currently working on some graphics for their Holiday ’10 line, which is exciting!  After seeing so many photos of their bombed out office online, it was great to check it out in person.
