It’s no easy task designing a cohesive collection of goods, so I am very pleased with the response it has got from the point of first showing it to buyers, in stores, and in our online store. “Simple & Clean” is and has always been the motto..

The Overview

The past 4 weeks have been intense; researching/searching for commercial spaces endlessly, finding then negotiating, committing to a new expense, then moving/cleaning and building, oh yea, and waiting 3 weeks for internet..  It’s been a lot.  Exciting yet nerve wracking.

With the way things were going, and our biggest production yet on it’s way, running Only out of the apartment was not really an option anymore. And I am happy to say I can walk around my house freely again.

Now that we are pretty much setup in the office, I am glad to be able to take a step back and appreciate what we now have and what’s to come. With all this recent productivity, I may even find some time for a few side projects again :>

Got a bunch of die cut scup stickers made up recently.  The scup is the basis of a little side project I have had going on since ’06. It’s more of a cape cod/beach/water town type of thing. Kind of like the black dog but the red scup..

We recently took a trip to the workspace of Underground Signs, an independent MTA Subway Sign Replica Company. It was great to chill and talk with the owner Trevor, who I must thank again for the amazing custom logo sign he created for us! Look out for the full studio visit feature on the Only site soon.

As of late I have really been focusing on building my brand ‘Only’, from both a creative and business standpoint.  Unfortunately,  it has left very little time to work on personal or client based artwork. That being said I was excited to have printed and released this more personal ‘all over’ print spanish mackerel tank top. It’s much more organic than most of the Only graphics.  I created the design a long time ago and it has a lot of personal meaning to me. Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Yesterday I finally got around to making a new little graphic to encourage donations to keep I Shot NY going. Good film and developing aint cheap!  I tried to keep it retro, fun and fit the overall feel of the site and photography – www.ishotny.com

Here’s a look at a character graphic I did for Less Taiwan this past winter.  They have just released it in a handful of stores in Taiwan.

After the long obsession I’ve had with these things, it was fun to make one myself.
